Kevin and Kristi Lynn

Kristi Lynn McDonald is one of my closest friends. We met in the 10th grade when she transferred to Black River. She is one of the sweetest and most caring people I know. She is a nursing student at Lake Superior State University. There she met Kevin Lidbeck who is an amazing guy. They are planning for a wedding next June. Matt and Martha Miles

Last night I had the honor of shooting the wedding of Matt and Martha Miles. I had never met them before yesterday but right away I knew they were two people with big hearts who were meant for each other. It was a beautiful service and reception that was held in Montegue, Michigan. I had a lot of fun with everyone and wish them the best of luck with their marriage. Rain Drops and Flowers

 It has been common that the rain has brought more humidity then a cool break in the heat but this time around it brought some fresh cool air. This summer has broken records in West Michigan. I've had my fair share of being outside in the heat but today was exciting. I love the sound of rain. I tend to sleep the best on those nights because the sound is so calming. Today I woke up and saw the petals of the flowers as well as plants just sparkle. It reminds me a lot of diamonds and yes I like "shinny things" =) 

If you take a photography class at GRCC and have Fillipo you will learn very fast to NOT take pictures of flowers because its cliche and over done. Guess what? People still find them pretty and will NEVER get sick of them! I think we can be cliche if we want.

My neighbor Deb always has beautiful flowers in her yard so I decided to get some use out of my macro lens. I hope you enjoy.

Associates of Wesco

Part of job with Wesco is traveling to the different stores to replace graphics. I spent Monday doing that. I started my day in Holland, traveled south to Coloma, then Watervielet, and finished in Plainwell. Something I enjoy while going to the different locations is meeting the associates that work in the stores. I can definitely relate to them because I've been there and I use to be one. They're a lot of fun and I love it when they are photogenic! Here are some of the people I met. They were all so friendly and great with their customers!
